Resolved

Project compiles with errors

description

Issue:
When the project is loaded into Visual Studio and built, link errors result due to obsolete dependencies on Boost Library references.

Fix:
  1. Select build type Win32, debug.
  2. Open the solution file in Visual Studio and right-click the LogFileTest project in the Solution Explorer tab.
  3. From the context menu select "Properties" and navigate to "Configuration Properties -> Linker -> General" in the "LogFileTest Property Pages" window.
  4. Edit "Additional Library Directories" and remove all LIB entries. Save the new settings.
  5. Navigate to "Configuration Properties -> Linker -> Input".
  6. Edit "Additional Dependencies" and remove all entries EXCEPT "$(OutDir)LogFile_x86d.lib". Only the LogFile lib entry should remain. Save the new settings.
  7. In the Properties window at the top left corner change either "Active(Debug)" or "Debug" to "Release.
  8. Repeat steps 3 to 6 for the Release build.
Once the new settings are saved, the build should proceed without link errors.

I intend to release updated solutions for LogLib without this issue.

OK that was easy to fix, but it is still there...
